GirlfriendGPT is built on credits, with a very limited free allowance and paid tiers that differ by the number of monthly credits. Neither offers easy refunds. We have not tested either service hands-on; what follows comes from their own pages and terms, compared with the criteria of our methodology.

What Candy.AI costs
On 5 October 2026, Candy.AI’s plans page, viewed from France, listed these options (local taxes may be added):
- 12 months: €3.99 per month, billed €47.88 per year;
- 3 months: €8.99 per month, billed €26.97;
- 1 month: €9.99 for the first month, then €13.99 per month;
- shorter periods were also offered at checkout: €9.79 every two weeks and €5.60 per week.
Every option renews automatically for the same price and term, per the page. What GirlfriendGPT costs
GirlfriendGPT does not publish a price page that we could open; prices appear at checkout. Its terms describe the structure instead: free users can create 2 or 3 characters and send a limited number of messages, then earn more credits through tasks; paid tiers give between 5,000 and 20,000 credits a month, which reset each month. Cancelling and refunds
Candy.AI renews automatically; cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Its terms state that no refund is given for moderation actions or for characters and features it removes, and they include a model withdrawal form for EU consumers.
GirlfriendGPT lets you cancel from the manage-subscription page. Its terms warn that a cancellation received after a new billing period has started may still be charged for that period. Refunds are only considered for a mistake or a technical problem; if you paid through CCBill, the request goes to CCBill. Requests are reviewed within 14 days, per the terms.

- Pick Candy.AI if you chat a lot: text messages are unlimited on any paid plan, and the cost is known before you start.
- Pick GirlfriendGPT if you want to try many characters and are comfortable managing a credit balance each month.
- Either way, start with the shortest billing period, and set a reminder before the renewal date.
